BEHOLD, I AM DOING A NEW THING…

Covenant Church of the Nazarene is a new congregation formed from the union of two 100-year-plus congregations. In Summer 2023, Jasper First and Saragossa Churches of the Nazarene agreed to merge under the new name “Covenant”. Exciting things are ahead.

OUR STAFF

Greg Tinker, Lead Pastor

Greg is a graduate of Curry High School and Trevecca Nazarene University. Greg has served as Youth Pastor at Jasper First Church of the Nazarene and Lead Pastor at Saragossa Church of the Nazarene. He is retired from Maddox Middle School where he taught History.

Jeffrey Woods, Associate Pastor

Jeffrey is an ordained elder in the Church of the Nazarene having served previously at Saragossa, Columbiana, and Northside.

Jim Odom, Worship Leader

Jim has played in and led bands many times over the year, but this is his first church as the worship leader. Jim currently works in banking, and his wife Jenny is the Director of Jasper’s Pregnancy Test & Resource Center.
